Hi everyone! My name is Teacher Alex. I've been teaching, tutoring, and coaching for about 8 years. I love reading! In fact, I read on average about one whole book per week. The only thing I like more than reading is getting to thoroughly debating what I've been reading in small groups. I teach Ivy Speak and Bookclub classes. It is also a passion of mine to help others learn to enjoy reading. That's why I work for Soar Kidz, and I have a blast. Reading is the door to unlimited possibilities. I recently had the pleasure of reading Up from Slavery by Booker T. Washington and can't recommend it enough. It was so interesting to hear his how much he valued education.
