One Day Special - STEM Book Club

Join us for a one-day immersive STEM Book Club experience where young learners dive into the fascinating worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through engaging and inspiring stories! This special session is designed to ignite curiosity, foster a love for STEM, and introduce students to remarkable real-life achievements through literature.

Students will read the book before coming to class.

We’ve curated an exciting lineup of books for each grade level, tailored to captivate and educate: (Books are not provided)

Grades 1-2: The Story of Albert Einstein: A Biography Book for New Readers (The Story Of: A Biography Series for New Readers) Young readers will explore the incredible life of Albert Einstein, one of the greatest scientific minds in history. This engaging biography introduces children to Einstein’s groundbreaking discoveries, his curiosity about the world, and his passion for knowledge, inspiring them to think big and embrace the wonders of science.

Grades 3-4: Who Was Isaac Newton? This biography brings to life the story of Isaac Newton, a brilliant physicist and mathematician who changed the way we understand the world. Through his discoveries in gravity and motion, students will learn how Newton’s work continues to shape modern science, sparking curiosity about physics, mathematics, and innovation.

Grades 5-6: The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, Young Reader's Edition This inspiring true story follows William Kamkwamba, a young Malawian boy who used ingenuity and determination to build a windmill and bring electricity to his village. Through this book, students will explore themes of perseverance, problem-solving, and the impact of renewable energy, encouraging them to think creatively about real-world challenges.
