Hi there, my name is Chris and I’m from Boston. I’ve been teaching English now for the past twenty years, both here in the U.S. and internationally. In my literature classes we immerse ourselves not only in the story, but the characters and setting as well. We try and make a verbal cinema of what we’ve read by imagining what we would do if swept off on a treasure ship or left stranded on the moon. Discussions that ultimately overlap with our own lives, what we’ve experienced or dream to in the future.

Classes here at the SOAR KIDZ allow for such unique opportunities, the chance to visit together the past, present and tomorrow. That much like my favorite childhood novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe we can stop time to enter into the unknown and hopefully return to our lives as different people.
