Description

Hi students, I’m Teacher Tresha and I think writing is a lot of fun. I've taught creative writing and academic writing to grades K - 12, and I think that whatever kind of writing we do it is important to remember that we are here to learn and grow. It's totally fine to try new things, to make mistakes and to learn from them. As a teacher, the main thing I care about is that students be themselves and use writing to express their authentic opinions and ideas. One of my favorite books is Catherine Called Birdy by Karen Cushman. It's about a pre-teen girl living in Medieval England, who has to deal with all of the challenges of becoming a lady in the Medieval world.
