Hello! My name is Miss Hannah, and I am so excited to meet you! I’ve been a teacher for 10 years, working with 1st, 5th, and 6th graders, as well as teaching internationally in Japan. My specialty has been in STEM and project-based learning, where I enjoy creating interactive and engaging experiences for students. I believe every class should be exciting and a place where every question matters because it can lead to new ideas and discoveries! The best part about our book club is discovering how stories can take us to new places, introduce us to different people and cultures, and help us see the world in new ways. One of my favorite books to recommend is Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce. It’s full of magic, knights, thieves and everyone has a secret! It was the first book that showed me how stories can take us on amazing adventures. I can’t wait to start exploring books with you!
